BUMBLEBEE ONYX Slab - 177 grams

Bumblebee Onyx from Indonesia, 177 grams, 6.3 millimeters thick

Excellent slice of old high grade Bumblebee Onyx with a great layout and bright colors! Smooth with some voids as usual but not much: excellent quality for cutting.  The yellow is Orpiment or arsenic sulphate. It’s only soluble if you ingest it and the toxicity is very low. As with anything, cut it wet to keep dust down and use gloves.  My experience has shown me that Malachite is much more risky to cut in comparison. I am unable to obtain this quality anymore, this bought in the pre Covid days!
