GOLD IN QUARTZ Slab - 18.8 grams

Electrum in Quartz, Manhattan Mine, California - 18.8 grams

Native Gold with Silver and other rare PGR metal group elements, 80/20 gold to silver appx which is electrum. Not as bright as like 16:1 Gold but a quarter the cost and far more rare and unique! In quartz with sulphide minerals and cinnabar! The Manhattan Mine is west of Sacramento and is the source of fabled Myrickite! And a highly fluorescent yellow lace opal!!! Both extremely rare like this gold! The quartz is a tad vuggy in spots and could use some minor sealing but I prefer to cut my cabs of it all natural. Hand sawn on a 6” trim saw so slabs vary in thickness, some need backing, some thick enough to split and back. A few are not quite straight too. Had a bad blade.
