Heat treatment drives off the brown axis, leaving the blue-violet that defines finished tanzanite, but in rough form all three colors are visible simultaneously depending on viewing angle.
All three pieces are notably clean for tanzanite rough — good transparency throughout with no significant inclusions visible. Well-sized for yielding finished stones with real presence.
