Three pieces of Nigerian vanadium emerald rough, 5.53 grams total weight. This lot shows notable color diversity across the three pieces, with saturation levels that place all three firmly in emerald territory rather than green beryl.
The crystal is the coolest-toned of the three — a blue-teal green with good transparency and the prismatic hexagonal structure still readable along the hydrothermally etched skin. The second piece is the largest, with the interior showing a rich saturated true green with excellent depth. The third is a blocky fragment slightly yellower green — still well-saturated and firmly emerald, with noticeably better clarity than the large piece. All three will yield a nicely colored, typically included emerald gems. There has been no oil treatments to the rough. Priced as a lot at $1,650.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
