Windy Mountain Agate from Nevada, 1.01 pound face cut rough
An excellent example of Windy Mountain Agate from near Empire, Nevada with the colorings coming from gold and silver!!! It’s technically not an agate its a silaceous Kaolinite Clay formed through deposition of silica bearing waters through gold and silver bearing clay. Excellent quality, very solid for cutting cabs or polishing as a specimen!!!
